About
Janeck Olczyk, D.O.
Osteopath D.O. · Therapeutic yoga teacher · Breathwork coach · Holistic health coach
A practice that sits where hands-on work, nervous system regulation and a wide understanding of what keeps a person upright meet: the body, sleep, food, the breath.
Twenty years of it
More than twenty years exploring holistic health and manual therapy. It did not start in a classroom: it started with a journey into the heart of the Amazonian jungle, which changed how I look at the body and at living things.
I have been practising osteopathic approaches for more than ten years. Trained at the Académie Sutherland d'ostéopathie du Québec.
In 2010 I completed my therapeutic yoga training in Montreal under Hart Lazer, one of the most respected yoga educators anywhere and a leading figure in Iyengar-based therapeutic yoga.
That training gave me an anatomy-informed reading of how posture, breath and guided movement reach the places in a body that have quietly stopped moving over the years.
The body as a whole
In a session I work with my hands. I look at how your body moves as a whole, find where mobility is restricted, then harmonise what is tight or held. Osteo-articular, cranial, visceral and fascial techniques.
A listening touch, not just techniques. A touch that is sensitive and precise, attentive to the body and the heart of each client.
What holds a person up
A hands-on session does not happen in a vacuum. What takes place on the table is shaped by everything else: how you sleep, what you eat, how you move through a day, and what you carry inside.
That is why I have spent twenty years studying fields well beyond manual therapy. This is the ground of coaching and support, separate from the osteopathy session itself.
The body
Mobility, posture, the movement practices that carry a daily life. Therapeutic yoga as a tool, fitted to the person in front of me.
Sleep
Probably the most underrated lever there is. Rhythm, environment, evening breathing: concrete adjustments, not miracle recipes.
Food
Twenty years of study in nutrition and supplementation, following what longevity research actually establishes. No dogma.
The inner world
Habits of thought and belief quietly shape how a life is perceived. Ground for coaching, for those who want to go there.
These four areas belong to coaching and support. They are discussed outside the manual therapy session, at your pace and only if you want to. Write to me to talk about it.
Ten years, every day
I have practised breathwork daily for ten years. It has become the thread tying the rest together: breathing is the only vital function you can steer on purpose, which makes it the most direct door into your own state.
I coach people in breathwork, one on one and in groups, and I built an app so the practice can carry on without me.
An app built to teach you breathwork and to create deep change in the body and the mind.
Guided sessions in English and French, from cardiac coherence to the deepest practices. Free to start.

It starts with one session.
55 minutes to assess, harmonise and talk through what brings you in. The rest follows, if you want it to.
