In order to facilitate the balance of the body and the relaxation of tensions, stretching and breathing techniques have long been used in oriental approaches such as Yoga and Chi-Gong. The regulation of breathing and the arrangement of the body in certain postures can allow for self-regulation of the nervous system and can help to relax specific structures of the body. In addition to his training as an Osteopath, Janeck Olczyk holds a Yoga Teacher certificate from renowned professor Hart Lazer in a style of therapeutic yoga stemming in the Iyengar tradition. Acquired in 2011, Janeck has used his knowledge and personal practice of Yoga since that time to offer as part of his osteopathic sessions stretching and yoga postures to target relaxation of key areas for those who need it. His sessions can also include ancestral and modern breathing approaches, called BreathWork, in order to bring relaxation, centering or expansion for those who are interested in exploring the different variants of their breathing.
